Datadriven, local journalism
Newsworthy is a news service that finds news in large amounts of statistical data with automation. A completely new way of doing journalism.
Newsworthy has been developed by the award winning data journalism agency J++ Stockholm and the statistican Måns Magnusson. The team combines excellence in data-driven journalism and bayesian modelling.
Between 2017 and 2020 we were part of the European Data Journalism Network (EDJNet). Newsworthy powered Stats Monitor, a service that made local news from pan-European datasets. For example about excess deaths in the corona pandemic.
