What is Newsworthy?

Newsworthy is a news service that finds newsleads in large amounts of statistical data. A completely new way of doing journalism.

Newsworthy primarily operate in Sweden, but as part of the European Data Journalism Network (EDJNet) we power Stats Monitor.

Stats Monitor tracks European datasets on topics such as migration and economic development to find national and regional trends of interest.

Who is Newsworthy?

Newsworthy has been developed by the award winning data journalism agency J++ Stockholm and the statistican Måns Magnusson. The team combines excellence in data-driven journalism and bayesian modelling.

Newsworthy has recieved funding from Google's Digital News Initiative, Vinnova, the European Commmission and Internetfonden. The project has been shortlisted for the Innovation in data journalism award at Data Journalism Awards.
